okay so poly has officially started (yes, all you jc ppl must be damn happy we're finally doing something right. -.-) and so far it has been fun. haven't really adapted to the poly timetable yet but still not bad not bad. :) my class ppl are nice and the lecturers are nice. :) i'm enjoying it all, except for the fact that i'm peeling. oh yeah and i just realised that the thing abt htm being a girls course isn't a joke. seriously. there are so little guys in htm. my class has 23 ppl and only 5 are guys. :O anyways, i think i'm gonna close this blog soon, or maybe i'll not do anything to it and leave it to rot cuz trust me, i am not going to update this blog regularly. i seriously have no interest in blogging now. now, it's all about fbing and twittering. :) soo toodles~ until who knows when. ^^

everyone looked zomg-edly gorgeous last night. :D and the venue was niceee (although the ceiling was a bit too low. >.<) lots of hot babes and elegants ladies. :) some looked like guys too. like sasa and beverly. :O
lots of glam shots and unglam shots, esp candids taken by jy. aish. but who cares la right.
hot dancing on stage. boom boom pow was awesome. lol. cuz everyone knew the song and we went crazy. anyone took the video?? i wanna seeee... ):
cat and renee lucky la. won an ipod nano and a branded watch. better than nothing. but i dunno who won the ipod touch though. huiwen won the canon camera. top prize. lucky girl. :)
prom queen (or rather miss tkgs) was valerie. kinda expected.
anyways, stayed over at bin's last night. madness la. we talked till 2am. wanted to sleep in today. but her bro was too noisy he woke us up at 9. walked into the room going "GOOD MORNINGGGG!!!!" then complaining abt his hair. seriously. from golden monkey to some fierce ah beng. the colours can't get any worse. he said it was brown-black, but where's the brown?! (no offence bin. >.<)

celebrated yesterday after prom briefing by going to kbox @ marina square. so hilairous cuz everyone zao sia-ed after screaming to love drunk and some other songs. ymca was fun cuz we all danced. xP so gay can. and of course there's still our tradition - our opening song: FUCK IT. xP LOL.

this is the korean version of the famous 2003 japanese drama - Kimi Wa Petto, in which Matsumoto Jun of Arashi acted in. :)) i'm sooo looking forward to this bcuz this is a great storyline!! :)

2009 is indeed not a very good year for stars in the Kpop scene.
with DBSK's JaeChunSu involved in a lawsuit, 2PM facing emotional trauma having their leader Jaebom leave for Seattle due to netizens' harsh comments, Super Junior's very own Kangin charged with assault, Big Bang's Daesung involved in an accident, and SS501's Hyun Joong down with the swine flu, life isn't going very smmothly for these idols.
but not to fret, as here comes the girls and 'old' idols!!! :D
more and more girls groups are coming out in the spotlight this year, with 2NE1 starting the race, followed by 4minute, T-ara, and SME's new group f(x), these girls are definitely showing some kick-ass girl power here. and not to forget the cutie pies, Kara's comeback, with 2 hit songs in a year, here's SNSD, the cool and sassy Brown Eyed Girls, and the sunbaenims, Jewelry.
and did i not mention 'old' idols? well i'm talking about the comeback performances of legandary idols that once overtook the kpop scene. we have Ryan from Paran, Clazziquai, Kim Taewoo of G.O.D, Junjin and Minwoo of Shinhwa, Moon Hee Jun of H.O.T and Tei.

Taegoon's back! with his new single, "Betrayed".
he flaunted his awesome dancing skills today, but for once i'm so thankful for the horrible sound system in MuBank cuz i did not have to hear his live singing. to be honest, it isn't good at all, his singing i mean. :S the dancing was good though.

i'm starting to LOVE f(x) more and more. (: they're about the same age as us, mostly from 14 to 17, except Victoria i think. and yet they can dance and sing well. envious sia~
well anyways, they're improving with every live they do, so it's a good thing to see! hwating!

the KING of DRAMA SONGS is back!!! and he's non other than Park Hyo Shin, the guy with the great voice who sang Iljimae's "Hwashin" and I'm Sorry I Love You's "Snow Flower".
he's back with a new song "After Love". he sounds great as usual, and the stage setting was nice, with the string ensemble surrounding him while he serenades us with his deep, husky voice. ahhh~ xP

Korea's best known all rounder is back as a singer, apart from his acting and hosting duties. here's Lee Seung Gi!!!
ahhh how i love him. he's soooo cute! and nice. and sweet. and he can sing well. and he's funny. and he can act. what else can i wish for? he's the best boyfriend one could ever get.
he sang 2 songs, but i'm only gonna post the second one, cuz i liked it better. hehe. :D

2 new groups this week. one is a new girl group called HAM what kind of name is thattt?!!!, and the other is a collaboration between T-ara and Supernova, forming TTL. whatever. not really fancying these groups so i'm not gonna talk about them. (:

then there's the usual BEG (this time with "abracadabra" remixed, but it sounded weird. :/), 4minute (hyuna's dress was sooo short, her lacy underpants showed. -.-) and Baek Ji Young with Taecyeon's goodbye stage on MuBank.
other singers like Kim Taewoo of G.O.D and Tei did their comebacks too but i didn't really care.

hello.
lit elect prelim today. i think i'm going to do badly. D:
embryo had asthma today so she didn't come. lucky girl. :/
the set text question was...well...unexpected i'd say. and unseen was so-so. but overall i think a C? i dunno.
few days ago mrs chia talked to our class and she asked us what were our aims for prelims. i raised my hand for 13-15 for L1R5. was i aiming too high? i think i was. i dunno. :/ seems so unreachable now.
no more normal lessons. this is so sad. soon we're to bid farewell to our "home" for 2 years - TKGS and most importantly, 4E8. i've come to realise that i love this class. although it's not as much as how i LOVE 2E3, 4E8 was enjoyable and fun and comfortable to be with. yea, even though we're in cliques and everything, when the time arises, we will work together as a class i guess. we're bonded, in a special way. a bond that other people don't see, and maybe even we are unaware of. but i believe it's there, somewhere.

DBSK had their first trial on 21/08/2009 (friday) at 10.20am. It lasted for about 1h 20min.

SME's lawyer said at the first hearing today regarding the suspension of the exclusive contract request that, "Xiah Junsu (Kim Junsu)received 45 million Won in advanced payment on July 15th," and "Seeing as this was done one month before the trial, it is hard to see it as an action that has nothing to do with the lawsuit." Sejong's side cuttingly replied to a reporter on the phone that, "That did not happen."

He said, "If that did happen, it was probably to settle his account for his income taxes," and "They are being ridiculous by making it seem like Xiah Junsu received that payment to prepare for this trial," and could not control his anger at the rumor.

He also said, "Ever since they debuted in 2004, SME has been in charge of all tax payments such as the composite income tax regarding TVXQ's income," and "The composite income tax is settled depending on how much the group earns for the first half of each year and was given to the members to pay in the form of advanced payments.Xiah Junsu received this money from SME to deal with a problem in his income tax account."

He also added, "If they reveal that the other members received advanced payment during the same time then this rumor can be taken care of," and "Xiah Junsu has never taken advanced payment to pay for personal or legal reasons."

and both sides gotta hand in any documents and evidence by 12 Sept for the final judgement. i really hope this'll end fast and well.

and btw, did i ever mention that i absolutely LOVE cassiopeia? well if i haven't then here it is. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE CASSIOPEIA. :D especially korean ones. they do awesome stuff that we international fans can't do and i feel so grateful, we all are. :D

Meanwhile, 120 thousand of TVXQ fans have filed a petition against SM Entertainment’s unfair long-term contract to the Seoul District Court on Thursday.

and DBSK still stays strong. because of the tremendous support for them. :D

During the hearing the lawyer said that the three members want to move to another agency, but also want to continue on their careers as TVXQ. The Shin & Kim lawyer cited another long-running K-pop group, Shinhwa, as an example of group members belonging to different agencies, yet working together.

and yes, Shinhwa is on DBSK's side. here what Lee Minwoo has to say:

"(TVXQ) are excellent juniors that I recognise. A few months ago, they even had a chat with me about problems in life... I could tell that the members have very deep feelings for the group. At the back stage, they would hold each others' hands and pray, say good luck; the way they cheer each other on is very similar to us. (T/N: He meant Shinhwa) Because they are a group which has very good team spirit, I believe in TVXQ."
"My dear younger brothers, TVXQ does not just belong to TVXQ. Don't think too much and over-complicate things, just keep thinking about your fans who have spent precious times with you and who have always protected you.

and from what i heard, on average, korean albums sell about 100,000 only. this is crazy.

"Park Chang Jong lawyer former member of the National Assembly, who previously dealt with big cases such as ‘Minerva’ and Park Yeon Cha case revealed his stance on the controversial DBSK Case. He is the representative of ‘Honest People’ and in a report stated that, “it is clear the contract DBSK signed with SM is a slave contract. He asserted in the case with SM Entertainment’s battle, DBSK’s company’s acts, according to the criminal law, can be considered as fraud against minors. He criticized the 13 year contract and especially stressed that it is a fraud against minors.

According to criminal law article 384, clause 1, "this type of fraud states that taking advantage of the lack of judgment minors or disabled people can have and thus, profits from is punishable for up to 10 years of penal servitude or for up to 20 million won of penalty.

Following, SM signed a contract with DBSK who were minors, and thus were not in conditions to make informed judgments, and made immense profit.

He added that this case must be taken as a lesson in order to eradicate the slave contracts employed by many entertainment companies. He especially pointed out the injustice parts in DBSK’s contract.
He stated:
-By setting the contract condition for 13 years, when the 5 members of DBSK were minors, SM took into consideration of their life as entertainers, and in result, tied them down for life
-Upon cancellation of contract, required for penalty 2 times the amount of future earnings
-Upon signing of the contract, did not confirm the original contract with the party
-Concerning their earnings, required the album sales to exceed 500,000 copies for the parties to receive 10 million won the next year

Further, he stated, "the criminal acts by SM can be accused not only by DBSK members but a third party and this must be an opportunity to learn lessons eradicate the slave contracts."

even jaechunsu are realising the evilness of SM.

Their departure from SM does not mean the disbandment of DBSK. He asserts that there is no problems in relationships between all the members. They are still like family and agree that in any situations, they must work together. He said, "Truthfully, all five had the same intentions. But in the process of negotiations, there was differences between the members. That is why only 3 members decided to fight with their company. They all agree that the contract conditions are irrational, it is just that their way of handling it is different."

and omigosh i'm so happy to hear this:
Micky YooChun, Xiah Junsu, Youngwoong Jaejoong's will is stronger than ever. The acquittance reported that, "the 3 members are showing stronger wills than before debut. The three members are determined to stick together no matter what hardships come their way."

They are also determined to get back together as 5 members under the name DBSK. He revealed, "even if the 3 members leave SM through lawsuit, this only means departure from SM. This does NOT mean the disbandment of DBSK. It may be after the 2 remaining members leave, or if they perform from 2 different companies; the 5 want to continue with DBSK."

Well then, if 3 members leave SM, would they still be able to use the name 'DBSK.' Upon researching in the Industrial Property Office, the group name 'DBSK' is not registered. SM registered for DBSK trademark in 2004 but was denied. In other words, SM does NOT have the right to the name 'DBSK.'

According to a 'Mansung' Patent Law Firm Office, the patent attorney Hwang Sung Pil said, "Dong Bang means East and one cannot assert exclusive right to use it. Most likely, this was probably the reason why the application was denied 2004. SM cannot assert any trademark rights to the name. If the 5 members are together even away from SM, they will have no problems using the name."

okay so today jaechunsu had a meeting with their lawyer and their parents i guess. outcome is this: the schedules for the full grp that were set earlier on (e.g. jaechun's new single and a-nation tour) will carry on, but jaechunsu's participation for further activities will be discussed later. wtf right.
Jaechunsu said this: "During the five years after our debut, we were getting really tired mentally and physically because of the one-sided schedule of SM. The beauty business does not have any relationship with this situation."

seriously. it isn't always great to study physics. it messes things up in your head. kinematics? there's physics method and amath method. no relation at all. same goes for vectors. there you have it. so ppl who don't take physics, don't always assume that we physics students have an easy time for these topics. it's not always the case. =.=
IRs every afternoon is really draining. you know what? we should just feedback to the school leaders that IRs are 'very good' and they should extend the duration for the juniors by half an hour. :D that'd be great. (i feel so evil. maybe i should stop it.)

i'm so not pleased to see that. ):
what a major disappointment.

today miss yeo started talking about results again.
and i totally felt she was pin-pointing me.
she was like there are some who performed below standard and results dropped a lot, i'm very disappointed.
i felt so...i dunno...ashamed? that i didn't do as well as i or miss yeo or everyone else thought.
i just feel that i've let myself down, i've let everyone down, esp. miss yeo & my parents.
oh well. what can i do. if it's over, it's over. nothing else can be done except for studying and working harder for the As in O's in Oct.
sigh.

well on a lighter note, we got our brownies today!!! ((: and they're delicious. mrs liew makes nice brownies. hehe! this shall be our motivation to do better for prelims. maybe a third placing in terms of classes? i dunno. lol.

first case of swine flu confirmed in SG. my gosh. this is so scary. i knew it will reach SG someday. and yes, it was yesterday. this sucks lah. this better not affect our cheena O this coming monday.

results are back. and i'm not pleased at all.
in fact, i'm pissed off. no, not at anyone else but myself.
i really questioned myself last night.
why didn't i work harder?
why didn't i start earlier?
why didn't i make use of my time better?
miss yeo wants to meet my parents. and i know the reason why. i've been deproving in amath. tremendously. and i know i don't have anyone else to blame but myself for getting this shit result.
that day she talked to the class about results, i felt that she was indirectly pointing towards me. she said some people didn't perform as she expected, maybe because of cca commitments like syf. sounds familiar?
i feel like a failure.
last night i was talking to my mum about this and i couldn't keep everything anymore so i just said good night and went into my room and cried.
how can i not be bothered about this?
yes, you can say it's just the mid-years, it's not the o's.
well i can tell you that i personally do not regard this as an excuse for not doing well, or at least up to standard.

i really love junsu. seriously. he's one of the most serious singers i've ever seen. have you seen anyone out in his all in performing his best even when he's sick or injured? well my su is one classic example. MKMF awards 2006, DBSK with 'O'-Jung.Ban.Hap, su didn't go for the red carpet and first half of the show because he was at the hospital receiving his drip (the glucose thing). then he joined the rest for the performance and from the fancam of him, u can really see that he was putting in his all. 2009 Tohoshinki 4th Live Tour The Secret Code, su injured his right ankle. but what did he do? he didn't give up. he perservered and managed to put on a great show, with his flawless singing making up for him not being able to dance. well what can i say except for "su, i really admire your determination and i will take you as my role model and strive to be better". aishiteru.

i was watching the fancams of him just now and the minute i saw him in a wheelchair yet smiling so brightly really makes my heart ache. ): someone (staff or dbsk members) said that he injured his leg when they were rehearsing for this mini concert and they were contemplating whether or not to carry on with the concert. yet su insisted that they carry on with it. i'm so proud of you su. (: and you managed to sing perfectly yet again! and i'm so glad you made an effort to try standing for 'Bolero'. but looks like you still shouldn't since many ppl commented that you looked like you were in pain after the song was over.

today wasn't a pleasant day for me.
yes, the performance was good and we received a lot of good feedback...but it's just me.
i felt like the world was crashing down on me when i was told to wear my costume on stage to receive my prize.
i felt embarrassed when i actually did that.
it felt worse when some close friends started laughing.
i felt bad when i accidentally kicked chow's face.
also when i blocked miranda and nearly made the ending pose fail cause she was barely there in time.
i'm sorry chow and miranda. D:
at this rate, yes we can get our gold. but it's not only some ppl's effort that'll do. it's a group effort. and some ppl don't seem to realise that. i was quite disappointed that only a few of us in the main team responded when mrs thong asked us if we thought we could get our gold. it's only when you believe you can get it, only when you dream of it and fight for it, then you can get it. it doesn't come easy, but we all gotta work together. we have less than 2 weeks left. but we can make a miracle happen. only if we ALL try.
so let's work hard and reach our goal. we can do it!

today is such a hot day. my gosh. i was sweating while doing chem spa! okay fine, maybe part of it was because of my nervousness... :/
well anyway, it's SPEECH DAY tmr! my gosh. i think i'm gonna be dead tired after that. and i'm going out to celebrate my aunt's birthday with my hair gelled up. omigosh. can't imagine. >.<
chem spa today was okay i guess. i'm just afraid my values aren't accurate enough cause it seems like majority got 26.6cm^3 and i got 26.7cm^3. 0.1cm^3 makes A LOT of difference okayyy... D: sighhh...but anyway, it's over so i can't do much about it anymore.
physics spa lesson was aiyohhhh. i couldn't get the correct gradient that i finally gave up cause everyone else finished and left and i was the last one there. so pathetic right. nvm. next spa i'm gonna be more precise. maybe my brain was burnt after dance during recess and chem spa. jy accompanied me, so thanks jy! gotta go to school tmr myself cause the timing a bit weird for my mum to fetch me. unless i reach sch at 7, which is superrr early. :/ dunno lah. see how first.

i just watched "sorry sorry" mv. super junior. and their comeback performance. this song is starting to grow on me. o.O
the mv isn't great at all. what's with the black & white? and why isn't heechul and kibum dancing in the mv? and why doesn't leeteuk, eunhyuk, shindong and kibum have any solo singing parts? that's the problem with having too many ppl in a group; there aren't enough parts to let everyone sing. D:
hankyung is just like...errr...dunno what to say. maybe trying to hard? i dunno. eunhyuk looks really good i'd have to admit. love the fact that he's in front during the chorus parts. that makes up for him not having a solo singing part i guess. :/ aish.

it was AWESOME/GREAT/FABULOUS/EXCELLENT/EXHILARATING/WONDERFUL/FANTASTIC/MARVELOUS.
just....WOW.
waited from 2.30 onwards. managed to go in at 5.30. 3 hours...o.O
save seats for yiliang and her friends (which included claudia, anita & jane). >.<
started off with some performances by students from Lee Wei Song Music School & some other school. not bad lah. there was this guy who looked like Pornsak and another who looked like Derrick from afar. xP then this girl group that was...errr...their voices were so damn high pitch!!! strain to the ears sia. >.< but when they sang together, it was nice. (: there was this taiwan guy (i forgot his name), that sang with Soda Green before, that was not bad! ((: but actually these performances were quite redundant. yup. cause no one was actually listening.
then 7pm came. and the actual show started. o.O that's when the fun starts~
the artistes came in by a red carpet. either walk or ride a bike. Xiao Zhu rode a 小绵羊 in, with 大目 and other DanceSoul ppl. damn handsome!!! :DDDDD everyone went high when he came in.
Derrick went first. sang 无法归类 & 咬字 (2 of my favourite songs!!!) i video-ed the whole perf. he's quite cute actually. :D
then some other performances. actually, i forgot the performance sequence. xP nvm. i shall just comment on those i remembered.
Aska came. he's ugly. got a lot of aunty fans. LOL. and they were all in the 摇滚区. can you imagine it? it's like a 摇滚区 that's not high at all and full of aunties. LOL. but he sang nice. 洋葱. quite nice lah that song. ((:
Olivia Ong was great too. sang 燕子, that 小娘惹 theme song. ((: practically everyone was singing along.
there was this woman who had a great voice that suited the night's atmosphere. 陈绮贞 was her name i think.
龚诗嘉 sang First Love. the pronounciation was weird. :/ but can't blame her lah. she's not Japanese what. :/
JJ Lin was great! sang 不潮不用花钱 & 小酒窝. so nice! esp the first song. and i didn't know he had such a big fanbase. he was quite sweet too. when he started to sing the 2nd song, cause it was a duet with 阿Sa from Twins, and she wasn't here, he said, "在这里的每一位，你们可以当我的阿Sa吗？". :DDD awww...：Ｄ i video-ed the whole thing too. ((: he sang with this famous Singaporean musician, 吴庆隆, too! but i didn't manage to video that. ade video-ed.
Royston Tan sang. xP you know that director. OMG lah. so funny. LOL.

his "sank eu beri macchi" was HILARIOUS. and he was so sweet!!! the first thing he said when he went on stage was "哇，我的歌迷坐得好远，好舍不得喔～" OMG lah. everyone fainted at that. xDDD he's just <3333333.
he sang 搞笑 &　箇中强手. and my stupid cameras had to go out of battery and memory at this time. stupid lah. in the end i only managed to take half of each perf. ;_;

i really don't understand the idea of "oh it's not the real exam or test what! so it's okay if i don't do well or i fail." i mean, i do make sure that all or most of my assignments are in proper order. and i do make sure i do well for test that are not counted too. am i too much of a perfectionist? :/

he's not so well, to be frank. the surgeon said to wait a while, try to see if his temperature can be stable without fever for a continuous number of days, then don't need op. because this particular op involves removing the damaged part of his lung, and it's gonna be a long and very risky op.
i'm finding it hard to fall asleep these few days. maybe because i'm worrying and thinking a lot. i can't help it. i can't not worry. i mean, he's my dad. my one and only dad. how can i not worry this much? and besides, his condition isn't very good. :(

i went to see him yesterday. after dance. my dad.
the doc said that he lost 5kg since he was admitted.
reason? he wasn't eating enough.
my heart breaks whenever i see him. he looks so different. so skinny. so boney.
he has two choices. to do an op. or to continue to stay in the hospital like that.
the op is gonna cost a lot. but...if he stays like that...it's gonna take a very long time...maybe forever...
i don't wanna visit him in the hospital every single day in the future.
i want to see him well and healthy at home.
the op is gonna have risks and the doc can't guarantee that everything will go smoothly.
if my dad doesn't have the will to carry on...that'll it...the op's gonna take away his life...and i don't want to see that happening...especially this year...
i really don't know what to do...

thank god for this 4 days off whenn i can finally rest.

tuition tomorrow. 9.30. *yawn*

my dad's still the same. turns out he has this RARE disease called maliodosis. it's from soil. yeap. wanna know more? go wiki it. well anyway, he's transferred to the individual isolation room. yup. cause they said it's safer for the other patients if they put him there. cause maliodosis can spread, i think. :( he has to stay there for at least a month. i wonder how i can keep this up. it's like school, dance/remedial/stay back for other stuff, hospital, tamon, home. & by the time i reach home, it's either 9.30-10 or 12. then i have to chiong homework in tamon, but if it's busy and there are no tables available, i'd have to chiong when i get home or the next morning. that's why i'm always like half-dead when i reach school. my mum received the hospital bill that day. and i almost fainted. he'd just been there for 11 days and the bill's already $26000+. adding gst, $28000+. minus medisave, $22000+. wth. his medicine alone was $10000+, for 11 day ONLY. i can't imagine what the bill'll be like when it's time for his discharge. my god. & my mum has to pay the FULL AMOUNT the minute he's discharged. how to? *headache headache*

went to pulau semakau on wednesday.
it was kinda boring for me cause i didn't go with my class. went with 4/9 together with chinny.
the place is nice lah. but nothing much about coastal protection except mangroves. :/
& cause we went pulau semakau on a separate day, so we had free period from 12.30 all the way to 1.50 yesterday. gossiped a lot about teachers with cheryl and chinny in the library. LOL. miss ong "nanny mcphee" was sitting behind us. ><
then we went out and i was telling them about BILLY GOAT when he suddenly appeared from the toilet. gave me a heartattack!

i'm drained.
tomorrow's cca promotion day. my last. OUR last.
then going for tuition.
then the hospital.

okay. many of you may not know about this but here's the reality:
my dad's hospitalised. at east shore. since last sat. pneumonia & diabetes. pneumonia's quite serious. may have to do op if the drug doesn't work on him. and there's this rare germ growing inside of him. they're in the midst of checking. but the doc said that he'll have to stay in the hospital for at least a month. i can't imagine how the hospital bill will be like since he has been transferring from ICU to 2-bed normal ward, and sometimes back again. one month. it's gonna cost a bomb. and medisave can only account for a small percentage cuz it's a private hospital. we're considering transferring him to CGH. but either way, the bill's definitely gonna be high. i don't know what to do to help my mum. she's struggling to keep this up. me too. i'm on the verge of a breakdown. i cried a lot on the first few day's he was admitted. i controlled my tears when i saw him in the ICU, with so many needles poking his arm, and him looking so weak and bony. i couldn't really concentrate in school or when i'm doing other stuff cuz i was worrying every minute. i'm still worrying now, but i learnt to try not to, especially during lesson times. i'm really afraid that something bad may happen to him. i love him. i really do. cuz he's my one and only dad. but i just can't bring myself to say this out loud to him. so i really hope he's able to read this.

and that's the reason why i've been so busy for the past week. i haven't been going home at 2 ever since school started. and this is also the reason why i was so pissed off at miss yeo today. she was drawing lots for librarians and my reg no got picked. i told her i had a lot of cca commitments and i couldn't cope, and she said that cca is cca, and that i had no contribution for the class. i told her i'm subject rep and she said that that little contribution is nothing. wth. she's got to understand that performing arts cca isn't that relaxed. we've got a lot of practices after school, whether official or not, and besides, the library day clashes with dance practice day. i really want to make this clear. it's not that i'm not willing to make a contribution and do something for the class. of course i'm willing to do that. but it's just that the workload is really too much for me to handle. if my dad isn't in this state, i may be able to do this, but i really can't handle this. as i've mentioned, i'm on the verge of a breakdown. i may not look like it at school, but that's because i'm trying to cheer myself up and think on the positive side. don't think that just because i'm laughing and joking around in school means that i have no problems whatsoever. i'm doing this because i do not wish to allow my mood to bring my friends' moods down too. also, i do not wish to take up a responsibility and not be able to do it well. so pls understand, miss yeo.

life sucks for me.

i'm just hoping that along the course of the year, things will get better.

friday was sec 1 orientation bondfire.
we finally managed to get a campfire. after sooo many years of pathetic candles.
seriously.
games were fun. ((: arra and i broke out into laughing fits, especially after watching the sec 1s. there was this sec 1 who was so enthu, she dropped her specs while doing a forward roll, ran forward, stopped, ran back to retrieve it, only to be kneeling down on the field, patting the grass all around her specs. xD da best.
dinner was erm...
concert was the best.
that was the best performance i've ever had, and one of the funnest days in my school life.
everyone was cheering and standing up and dancing to "all for one", our finale.

to all performers:
thank you all for putting in so much effort into this performance. yesterday was great. no, actually, ALL practices were great. we kept on improving and moving on and finally, we managed to put up such a wonderful performance. GOOD JOB PPL!!! ((:

yesterday was fun in the sense that i got to meet a lot of friends after the not-so-long break.
but then again, unpleasant in the sense that half the time was spent in the stuffy hall listening to talks & the other half in the classroom having some bonding (which wasn't so effective).
voted for class comm for the whole of 2009. not only semester 1.
well...i dunno if i made the right choice by backing out of that nomination for class chairman. i mean...yes i know it'll reflect very well on my portfolio...& it'll be good for me in the future...but i feel that i just can't juggle dance president jobs + class chairman duties. being a cca pres is not that easy you know. ask jueying. she would know. btw, congrats to her for being elected at chairman. ((: i promised that i'll help her in any way i can, cause i know just how tough it is being a president. so yeap. :/

met dance orientation ppl during recess & after school. we're making progress. not very quickly but at least we're making some form of progress. which is good. ((: we decided to scrape the "O" dance, & do "Tell Me" instead. yup.
so i've been spending time from 6.30 onwards, in front of my comp, watching the idance version of "Tell Me" on youtube, trying to learn the dance. i need to be good at it by monday, which i think is possible. just a bit more concentration on my part. yup. i just realised that this dance may look easy but it's not. seriously. lot's of waves + changing of weight from one side to the other. some steps feel weird, but nvm. i don't think everyone will be willing to do "Tell Me". i dunno. i just have this feeling. but "So Hot" will be worse. LOL.

talked to mrs thong yesterday afternoon for quite a long time outside staffroom. quite a nice talk. we were talking about syf. like what we were aiming to get and stuff. obviously a GOLD right? WE CAN DO IT. :D
talking about who would be suitable for the next pres & stuff. yup. we already have some people in mind. but we still gotta observe during dance.

well apparently, when EXILE, the boy's idol, won some prize (i'm guessing it's a big one), jaesu stood up when EXILE stood up, in an attempt to congratulate them. it's also a form of respect. but that's korean custom. in Japan award shows, when some artiste wins something, the others would just be expected to stay seated as a form of respect, as they want the winners to be fully in the spotlight. well yeah. that's the rule. in Japan. sooo...jaesu stood up while everyone else didn't (& it was quite embarrassing).
well how do you expect 2 korean youngsters to know about this? they haven't been on many Japan award shows, if i'm not wrong. so of course they're more accustomed to korean culture. blaming them? telling them off? dumb.

spent yesterday night watching countdowns after countdowns.
kouhaku was not as exciting as the previous years, much to my disappointment. the boys were seriously wayyyy toooo tired to be able to perform as perfectly as they could've done. mr. children rocked the house though. the rest of the newcomers were alright. didn't understand the need for the fuji tv crew to join in 羞耻心's performance.
singapore's countdowns weren't great at all. don't mind my un-patriotism, if there's such a word. -.- christopher lee sang a farenheit song?! >_<
yesterday was the most unpleasant new year's eve i've spent in 15 years of my life. i was alone at home in the evening; someone was in a cranky mood; they seemed very unwilling to come home early from work to countdown & celebrate with me; i was told off by someone for no reason whatsoever; & everyone wasn't really getting along well. wth. okay. i'd better stop here now. don't mind my ranting. i just felt that i had to get these all off my chest. to be frank, i was in a bad mood the whole day yesterday, from the minute i woke up & heard some unpleasant stuff, to the minute i dozed off to slumber land. i really wished i had stayed in my room, on the comp, than go & sit out there & have my mood spoilt.

went out with daddy & mummy for lunch today. went to the hotel beside marina square. had italian cuisine. it was alright, but most of the dishes contain tomatoes, which i absolutely detest, so i wasn't enjoying the meal very much. well, to be accurate, not meal, but starters. main course was alright, but tomatoes again, which i forced myself to swallow cuz i know it's very rude to pick on your food, esp in a high-class restaurant. hmph. i enjoyed dessert though. tiramisu. the best.
oh. & i finally found out from mummy why someone was feeling cranky last night, which in turn spoilt my mood. D:

they've performed.
& i'm quite disappointed.
cuz of a few things.

1. their whole performance lasted only 2mins 20secs. :(
2. purple line lasted like 25secs? wth!?
3. all of them looked so tired.
4. their voices were not in the best condition. (except junsu. he was the only one who sounded perfectly normal to me. jae & min was a little off. chun was like so soft, like he couldn't produce any sound. yunho had so little solo parts. :/ )

sadness. T_T
i'm seriously disappointed.
but then again, which human can handle a gayo daejun on the 29th till 1a.m., flying over to Japan asap without much rest, a music japan award show on 30th night, rehearsals for kouhaku the next morning till afternoon. (plus filming for a drama for jae)
yes. that's how busy they are. you guys should see the fancams of them in the airport. they looked sooo worn out. really heart-breaking to see this. :(
yeah, i mean their outfits were great, their hairstyles were great, just...the whole singing part. :(

dance was fine. & funny. miss chiam actually used "tell me" by Wonder Girls for warm-ups. so unexpected. & gloria & i were so JIDONG lah. xP
dance farewell was sucky. damn boring. i'm really sorry seniors (& all dancers)...for wasting everyone's time...
was like damn moody the whole of yesterday after farewell, until sbs gayo daejun started at 8.55pm. i watched it live through tvants. it rocks lah. so clear & not choppy. ((: DA BEST! hehehe.

my comp hanged so i totally missed the first part, which was the opening, 2PM, SHINee & TaeYeon, Sunye & Davichi's special collaboration. sad lah. how can i miss them mann. :( nvm. watch on yt later.
i only know one of the 3 MCs. DAESUNG!!!!! :DDD he looks so cute in a suit. hahas. Rain, Kim Jongguk, SHINee & Big Bang were sitting together. so cute lah. when 4 old singers came out to sing some old songs & daesung's trot, Rain & Kim Jongguk were like damn relaxed, enjoying the old songs. hehe. when daesung came out to join them for trot, G-Dragon started laughing like mad. so cute. & T.O.P was like smiling.

2 of the greatest singers!!! OMG. the best battle ever mann. Taeyang did "Don't Wanna Try". Great english, not so much passion in the song. Junsu did " My Everything". erm...okay engRish, but lots of passion in the song. overall, both did great, but i'd prefer passion over pronouncitaion. so my verdict? JUNSU WINS.

yesterday. my uncle brought the mio box to some singnet factory to change it. yup. and i went for tuition in the morning. tuition was fun yesterday. hahas. small lion didn't come. :( miss tia went through the hol hw with us. just realised redox is easier to understand than i expected. LOL. yeah. then rushed to school for banner painting. & i went there only to find out that they have already finished. -.- so i just helped to clear up. :/ then went to parkway for lunch with gloria & kimberley. yupyup. :DDD then met gloria's mum and we went to cgh cause gloria got physio appointment. then after that, went to white sands to get stuff for sec 4 farewell & I MET FAWN!!!! yay!!!! omg. she couldn't recognise me. until i waved like crazy in front of her face & walked past her & gave her a pat on the shoulder. xD she was my best friend in primary school. & dance mate too. anyways, twilight was okay. better than what i expected actually. cause i've been reading a lot of reviews online & a lot of them said that it was disappointing. well, it was alright lah. no that bad. edward was not what i expected him to be but robert pattison couldn't help it too right? i mean different people have different imaginations of what edward would look like. & besides, i think no one would be as perfect as edward. :/ LOL.

1. DBSK's latest Japanese single, Jumon Mirotic, jumped up from top 200 plus, all the way to 28th place in the Oricon Charts. WOW. o.O effects of the NC19 ban??? xD

2. Apparently, the reason why DBSK doesn't get to go on Music Station despite their remarkably good results in the JPOP industry is bcuz of Johnny's Entertainment. Well, it seems that the producers of Music Station are on well terms with the old guy, Johnny. They not only don't allow DBSK on the show, even natives like w-inds or da pump don't even get to go on the show!!! Common thing? They are rivals of Johnny's Boybands. -.- this is plain stupid. so it's like JE V.S. every other asian boyband? wth?! this makes no sense. the managers of these boybands are just waiting for the old man to die now. Maybe only until then that the Music Station producers will wake up & see other talents around. :/

1. DBSK NOT ATTENDING ANY OF KOREA'S GAYOS AT THE END OF THE MONTH.

"DBSK will not be attending any of the End of the Year BIg Gayo DaeJun (WAR) Programs for KBS MBC SBS.
The 4th Album "MIROTIC" released in September has hit 500,000 album sales and has proved DBSK's power once again as the BEst Idols in Korea, but it will be difficult to see DBSK at this years Big Three GAYO ceremonies.
DBSK's SM Ent. has said over interview " 29 through the 30th DBSK will be in Japan for the award ceremonies there and will be difficult to be able to make it for the Live GAYO ceremonies in Korea.
The BIG 3 end of the Year GAYO DaeJUns will take place on the 29th for SBS, 30th for KBS, and 31st for MBC. It's impossible for DBSK to make it to any of them.
In contrast DBSK will be away in Japan those days for the Dec- 29th ( i dont the name in japanese) White-Red ?? ceremony.. Since it's DBSK's first time it will be exciting for DBSK.

As for Show, his album will be released on the 26th of December. His dance moves are extremely difficult, and he must complete a total of 128 moves in only 20 seconds. Hence, he specially invited Henry Link from Italy, who was once Michael Jackson’s dance teacher to help him. However, before he arrived to Taiwan, the 2 had to communicate via video past midnight. As there were language barriers, they could only communicate via physical language, and Show could not help but laugh: “A big man like me, dancing and making sounds like ‘en en ah ah’to a screen at midnight, if people saw me, they would definitely think I am weird!” Show also has to wear crystal gloves that weigh 5kg and hence his arms got cut and bled; Show cried, “Swollen like pig hooves!”
